  • Creating a knowledge base means integrating multiple data sources and assigning these data with a meaning (an ontology). This is what linked data are about. A knowledge base allows any size company to convert data into smart data and extract value from them by asking questions, creating services or applications, and selling data. The open data available on the web are growing exponentially and they represent an incredible opportunity for any company to enrich and grow their knowledge base. However, scouting the open data cloud is not easy and locating the useful datasets can be tricky. Here we are explaining the LinkedData.Center approach in describing business knowledge base usable both to humans and machines.
